WWU Women's Soccer

After a 2-0 win on November 22, the women’s soccer team stands around head coach Travis Connell, 40, as he explains the next drill during the Tuesday afternoon practice. This is the first year in WWU women’s soccer history where the team has made it to the Final Four. “The best thing about coaching college soccer is the age group because it’s such a fun time in life,” Connell said. “All these college athletes are figuring themselves out and it’s a really exciting time to be interacting with them and to see them go through this stage of their life.” The team is scheduled to play a semifinal game against last year’s national champion, University of West Florida, on Thurs. December 5 in Evans, Georgia.
